Well im not a piczo expert but hers some tips. You dont have to use them but they could help improve your site!
1.Use the english language. Dont type lyk dis or use wierd symbols. It may make the viewer just pass your site, or confuse them.
2.Dont use glittery pictures on your site. I used them and they totally trashed the place. They make your eyes go funny O.O i suppose its okay if your like 11 or 12. If you want them, limit your choice.
3. If your starting a new site make sure you know what everything in, e.g. htmls etc. They can make your sites worth while and more hits!
4. Be original this will make more vistors come back, whats the point in veiwing sites which are all just the same?
5. When visiting other peoples sites, leave comments - nice ones! they proberly spent hours on them and worked really hard!
6. For your own saftey do not give out your phone number, home adress etc. And dont leave them in people shoutboxes. Never know who could end up on your site!
7. Do not copy any peoples ideas.
8. Dont claime other peoples work as your own. Dont add your site name on any thing which isnt your creation. You can get into trouble with piczo.
9. Change your layouts as often as possible, it will give regular visitors something to look at.
10. Have an original site name, something which people will automically remeber and try to keep 'x' and 'o' limited.
11. Make your enter/ homepage welcoming.
12. use html they are a key to a good site.
13. Have a visitor help section. This will bring you more hits! E.g. htmls, graphics.
14. If a hater writes a 'nasty' comment then delete it rather than argue. This makes your site look tacky.
15. Keep your homepage tidy and your pages easy to get to. A confusing site with pages everywhere can put visitor of from coming back again.
16. Credit people who layouts your using.
17. Try to update often & be nice to your visitors.
18. Try to use colours that match. Colours which dont match can be quite tacky!
19. Try to 'desogn' each page.
20. Remember little can be much!
